Don’t make the WordPress Backup goof that I did. Seriously.
WordPress blogs are designed to create jobs like backing up oh-so-easy. Certain you can do it manually, but with WP there’s a plugin for every thing, including backups, and you can even just set and forget it and have your weblog backup automatically. Just 1 far more reason to adore WordPress.
I may well not backup everything else, but with my plugin I believed I knew the best way to backup WordPress and do it automatically … EXCEPT … lately I got a shock.
All my back-up function was going to waste!
I was backing up the WORDS on this WP blog, but Absolutely nothing ELSE!
What I didn’t know is that WordPress has two various parts it requires to restore from a backup. There’s the database, and there’s also the web site contents. Who knew? Well, not me, that’s for certain.
